‘Line’ can be used to flatten the pictorial space. The sensor of the camera was kept as close to parallel to the plane of the subject. These photographs were taken with a 135mm focal length. Below are three selects.
The line of the sensor and the subject flattening pictorial space allows the viewer to explore the constant surface created in the photograph. The technique of flattening perspective is useful for allowing us to explore the beauty of abstraction.
